This Everyday English course follows an interactive and dynamic method, which results in learners mastering skills needed to communicate in English on a daily basis. Success towards fluent speaking begins in small groups allowing each learner to maximize his or her talking time. Over the 10 weeks, learners practise various speaking and writing skills: conversation and tasks related to a wide range of everyday interpersonal and even professional situations.
Participants who complete this course, from Beginner to Advanced, gain the confidence and skills to engage in spontaneous exchanges in various real-world contexts.
Schedule description
In-person classes. Classes will take place at Vanier College's Main Campus - 821 avenue Sainte-Croix.
Placement tests will take place the week before the first class. Detailed instructions on how to register for a Placement test are on the website.
We will communicate details about the level in which you have been placed, your classroom and instructor 1-2 days before classes begin.
A make-up class has been scheduled at the end of the course in the event of the cancellation of a lesson during the session.
