Prerequisites: • Basic knowledge of construction or experience in the building industry • Basic knowledge of technical drawing and/or reading plans • Minimal knowledge of Windows
Profile: This training is intended for new users of SketchUP, including architects, technicians, interior designers, and landscape architects who wish to acquire the fundamentals of the SketchUP software Content: - Introduction and SketchUP interface: understanding the workspace, model management, and display modes - Project startup: learning to work with construction tools and developing a work methodology (components and layers)
- Building the model according to a construction sequence (architectural project): building the foundation, walls and floors, openings, a roof, and stairs
- Refining the model (architectural project): working on textures, colors, and shading
- Building the model (overview of a landscape architecture project): working on terrain, outdoor amenities, and integrating vegetation Views and styles: framing views, working on styles
Schedule description March 31 - May 19, 2026 Tuesdays & Thursdays 18:00-21:00 This course is conducted ONLINE through Microsoft Teams.
Costs description If you are eligible, this course costs $5 per hour for a total of $225.11.
If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, you will be contacted to pay an additional fee as a self-funded participant
