This course meets the requirements for the 45-hour training for home childcare providers, which must be completed within in the 3 years preceding the application for recognition as stated in Quebec’s Educational Childcare Regulation.

Objectives: The following 4 requirements for the training will be addressed: Role of the Provider, Child Development, Health and Nutrition, and Educational Program.

Method: Lectures, discussion, role play, films, and hands on experiences

Dates: June 13th 2026 - August 1st 2026
Due to holidays, there will be no classes on Wednesday, June 24 and Wednesday, July 1. These sessions will be moved to Tuesday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 30 (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
Hours: 45h non-credit
Location: Hybrid (Online on Tuesdays and in-person on Saturdays)

Participants that have attended all 45 hours* of the course will receive a Cerificate of Completion
